Mudita Shrug

Description

Mudita (Sanskrit, Moo-dee-tah):
Taking delight in the happiness of others.

This cuddly, oversized shrug is soft and light with a beautiful halo. It’s the perfect item for layering with dresses and jeans. Or, just snuggle up on the couch and wear it while you’re knitting. Makes a special (but easy) gift.

The fabric of this flattering shrug is knit at a bit of a loose gauge for a nice, drapey look. It has a cozy, ribbed collar encircling it.

Mudita is knit in one piece and then folded in half and seamed on each side. It uses two strands held together: a fingering weight and a fuzzy lace weight. There are two slightly visible seams at the underarms.
